Eco & Health
Catterline School's Eco & Health Group work hard to make sure the school is
eco-friendly, healthy and active. They hold regular meetings to discuss
and plan issues. There will be an Eco Action Day on 28th April 2011 with
various events for everyone. The school is still working
towards its Green Flag.
So far we have attained :- Silver Award for Eco & Commended
Level for Health.
We have two Junior Road Safety Officers who help to keep the school safe
when a ball goes out of the playground. We do lots of assemblies to keep up to
date and keep the pupils aware. We encourage people to wear bright clothing or
reflectors. We change our board regularly and try to make it eye-catching.
The pupil council are in charge of the Suggestion Box and the pupil
voice. They speak up for what the pupils think on issues that could change
the way the school is run.
Our achievments so far include :- Playground Games Table, Skipping
Competition & Our Website (yes, you're reading it !)
